• Information you provide: name, email address, phone number, requested funding amount, time in business, revenue range, credit score band, industry, and use of funds, as entered in our application.
• Usage information: standard analytics data such as pages visited, referring URL, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from IP address.

How we use it

• To match your application with lenders in our network and obtain offers for you.
• To contact you about your application by phone, text message, or email.
• To operate, secure, and improve the site and our services.
• To comply with legal obligations.

How we share it

Routing your application is our business: when you apply, we share the information in your file with lenders in our network whose criteria your profile is likely to meet, so they can extend offers. We also share information with service providers who help us operate the platform (such as hosting, analytics, and email delivery), and when required by law. We do not sell your information to data brokers, and we do not share it with anyone for purposes unrelated to obtaining funding for you.

Communications consent

By submitting an application, you consent to EQ Funding and the lenders your file is routed to contacting you about your application by phone, text message, and email at the contact details you provide, including via automated systems. Consent is not a condition of receiving funding. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to texts, using the unsubscribe link in emails, or emailing hello@eqfunding.com.

Data retention and security

We retain application information for as long as needed to service your file and meet legal and accounting requirements, then delete or de-identify it. Data is encrypted in transit, and access is limited to personnel who need it to service your application.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy, to request correction or deletion, and to opt out of certain sharing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@eqfunding.com with the subject line "Privacy request." We will verify your identity and respond within the time required by applicable law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Children

Our services are intended for business owners and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
